FretTrack

Repair shop workflow from intake to pickup.

A focused operations workspace for guitar, bass, amplifier, and keyboard repair shops: customers, work orders, specialist bench records, inventory, scheduling, customer communication, billing, and job history.

Stable release 0.3.3 is available. Registration and shop setup are self-service, and Shop and Pro subscriptions use secure Stripe Checkout and self-service billing management.

Bench workflow Jobs, work logs, photos, and documents in one place.
Shop scoped Auth, roles, and row-level access are part of the foundation.
Shop tested Built from real repair-shop feedback, not generic ticketing.

Everything a repair counter needs before the instrument hits the case.

FretTrack keeps the customer story, instrument condition, repair plan, parts, scheduling, and pickup paperwork tied to the work order.

01

Intake

Create the job, capture customer details, promise dates, source, priority, and instrument specifics.

02

Document

Use photos, damage maps, captions, and customer-ready reports to show condition clearly.

03

Repair

Use focused Guitar, Amplifier, and Keyboard benches while tracking services, parts, work logs, payments, scheduling, and status changes.

04

Pickup

Print or email clean work order and invoice documents with the right customer-facing details.

A shop workspace that stays out of the way.

Current work, priorities, due dates, repair benches, inventory, customers, reporting, and administration use one restrained navigation system.

Choose a purpose-built FretTrack theme or let the app follow your device. The layout remains consistent across the dark and light options.

FretTrack Current Jobs workspace in the Bench Dark theme, showing the navigation rail, queue summary, filters, and active work orders.
Bench Dark keeps dense shop information readable without turning every control into a competing card.
FretTrack Current Jobs workspace in the Shop Light theme with the same navigation, metrics, filters, and work-order queue.
Shop Light uses the same hierarchy for bright workspaces and daylight screens.
FretTrack New Work Order workspace showing grouped customer, instrument, shop workflow, and customer request sections.
Intake keeps the customer, instrument, workflow, and request organized without turning the form into a wall of fields.
FretTrack Work Order Parts and Billing workspace showing job status, assignment, parts, services, and totals.
The same work order carries parts, services, payments, tax, and invoice controls through one permission-aware workspace.
FretTrack Customers workspace showing directory search, customer records, account totals, and contact details.
Customer records keep contact details, account activity, job history, payments, and shop notes in one responsive workspace.
FretTrack Inventory workspace showing parts search, stock table, and part editor.
Inventory keeps parts, stock identity, label selection, and the editor in one contained workspace.

Purpose-built tools for the repair bench.

The product surface stays quiet and useful: dense enough for repeated shop work, visual enough for photos and damage documentation, and guarded enough for owner/admin/tech/viewer roles.

Photo documentation and editor

Save originals, make annotated copies, crop, brighten, caption, and clean backgrounds without AI cutout services.

Parts, inventory, and purchasing foundation

Inventory counts, movements, low stock, barcode identity, vendors, purchase orders, barcode labels, and receiving history are part of FretTrack.

Scheduling and customer records

Keep appointments, due dates, pickups, customer history, and repeat-customer lookup connected to shop operations.

Customer communication and retention

Send immediate or scheduled email, configure opted-in service reminders, and manage Pro loyalty stamps without leaving the work order.

FretTrack photo editor with markup, captions, crop, brightness, and manual background cleanup controls.

FretTrack parts, services, billing, and totals view.
Parts, services, payments, and customer-facing totals stay tied to the job.

Built for real shop data, not throwaway demo records.

FretTrack is built for paid business use with controlled access, verified accounts, shop-scoped data, role-aware UI, and explicit deployment checks before production changes.

Auth and shop isolation

Supabase Auth, Row Level Security, membership roles, and guarded RPCs protect shop-scoped records.

Verified self-service setup

Confirm your email, create your shop workspace, and begin the trial without waiting for manual approval.

Deployment discipline

Cloudflare, Supabase migrations, Worker functions, and documentation notes are tracked before release work moves forward.

Not currently included in either plan: SMS delivery, customer portals or public invoice/work-order links, automatic supplier ordering, carrier rate or label purchasing, predictive inventory forecasting, and multi-shop administration. Planned inventory work will keep reorder levels, vendor lead times, low-stock warnings, and reviewable purchase suggestions in Shop and Pro; future demand, seasonal, and usage-trend forecasting will be Pro.

Dedicated AmpTrack and MidiTrack add-on modules are planned later with more specialized amplifier and keyboard workflows.

Cancel anytime through the Stripe Billing Portal; access continues through the current paid period. The first annual subscription purchase has a 14-day refund window.
