Information We Collect
FretTrack may collect account information such as your name, email address, shop name, and login or authentication data.
Shops may enter repair workflow data, including customers, instruments, jobs, repair notes, work logs, schedules, inventory parts, vendors, purchase orders, receiving history, photos, uploaded files, and damage map notes.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide the FretTrack app, manage beta access, support repair-shop workflows, send transactional emails, troubleshoot problems, improve the product, and prepare billing or subscription features for paid beta use.
Customer and Shop Data
FretTrack is designed for repair shops to manage their own operational data. Each shop is responsible for the customer, instrument, job, inventory, vendor, and scheduling information it enters. FretTrack uses shop-scoped access controls so users should only see data for shops and roles they are allowed to access.
Please avoid entering unnecessary sensitive personal information. FretTrack is not designed for medical, financial account, or other highly regulated personal data.
Photos and Uploaded Files
Photos and uploaded files may include instruments, damage documentation, repair progress, serial numbers, customer-provided images, or shop notes. These files are used to support repair documentation, customer-facing reports, and internal shop workflows.
Only upload files that are relevant to shop operations and that your shop is allowed to store and use.
Billing and Payments
FretTrack may store billing-related data such as plan or subscription status, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, and payment status.
FretTrack does not store full credit card numbers. Payments and billing details are processed by Stripe.
Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
FretTrack may use browser storage, cookies, or similar technologies for sign-in sessions, app preferences, beta workflows, security checks, local drafts, and performance or troubleshooting needs. Clearing browser data may sign you out or remove local-only drafts and preferences.
Service Providers
FretTrack uses or expects to use service providers to operate the product, including:
- Supabase for authentication, database, and storage
- Cloudflare for hosting, security, and delivery
- Stripe for payment processing and subscription billing
- Resend for transactional email
- GitHub or other support and issue systems for bug reporting
Data Sharing
We do not sell shop workflow data. We may share information with service providers that help run FretTrack, when needed to provide support, when required by law, or to protect FretTrack, users, shops, or the public.
Data Retention
FretTrack keeps account, shop, repair workflow, uploaded file, and billing-related records for as long as needed to provide the product, support beta operations, meet operational needs, resolve disputes, enforce terms, or comply with legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. Please use strong account credentials, restrict user roles appropriately, and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your Choices and Requests
You can contact FretTrack to ask questions about your account or shop data, request help with access, or ask about data correction or deletion options. Some records may need to be retained for operational, security, legal, or backup reasons.
Children's Privacy
FretTrack is intended for repair-shop business use and is not directed to children. If you believe a child provided personal information to FretTrack, contact support.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as FretTrack changes, especially as beta features, billing, support flows, and production operations mature. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
